Neon Sprawl

Neon Sprawl is a free 16-page hack of the fast-playing cyberpunk RPG, Neon City Overdrive. It condenses the mechanics of the original into a rules-lite game that is streamlined, quick to read, and easy to play.

Pick from a collection of straightforward and evocative prompts and options to make your high-tech lowlife character in mere minutes. Then get straight into the cyberpunk action with a ruleset that propels the fiction forward and gets out of your way!

Neon Sprawl also introduces a whole bunch of tweaks and new rules to the original game, such as:

• A different approach to downtime, including a more permanent alternative to NCO's transient gear mechanic.
• An alternate system for retiring your character called One Last Job, which allows you to fulfill your drive "onscreen" as an actual mission... or die trying.
• A revamped hacking subsystem which includes guidelines for the GM about what hacking can and cannot do in a wireless world.
